  4. Invoice 1.0 is now available.
  5.  
  6. The final version of Invoice contains minor bug fixes and a couple
  7. new   features.  Don't forget that Invoice is very flexible application
  8. and it can be used   more than for only invoicing. Here, I'm thinking
  9. of managing purchase   orders and quotations.
  10.  
  11. The final demo version of Invoice have been

  20. Here some of the features that have been added or changed since the demo
  21. version was published on September 15.
  22. - handling Tab and Return properly in the Invoice Panel
  23. - quantity fields accept decimal values, (you can bill for hours now)
  24. - Command-f when editing in the Item ID field brings up an inventory
  25.          item finder
  26. - Commands for sending and marking invoices without opening the Invoice
  27.          Panel.
  28. - Examples of export files
  29. - Command-s when editing in a Client Panel or an Invoice Panel will add or
  30.          modify the client or the invoice contained in the opened panel to
  31.          the database.

  46. The Hutchison Avenue Software Corp. announced the release date for
  47. "Invoice" today. Invoice is an application aimed at helping businesses
  48. track and generate invoices. The release date is scheduled for
  49. September 30th, and Hutchison will be taking orders starting today.
  50.  
  51. In busy small and medium-sized businesses, there can often seem to
  52. be more work to be done than time in which to accomplish it all.
  53. Most people in   such businesses wear more than one hat and may
  54. have to switch hats repeatedly   in the course of a day or week or
  55. month. ``Account Manager'' may be only one   of many hats a single
  56. individual wears, and consequently only one of many   tasks they
  57. are juggling. Everyone knows the billings are important for the
  58. future of the business, but so is supporting clients, meeting product
  59. or service deadlines, etc.

  61. As well, cash flow is a constant challenge for small and medium-sized
  62. businesses trying to at least stay alive, and more likely, grow and
  63. develop.  Billings handled ineffectively can have serious implications
  64. for cash flow and consequently for the future of a small or
  65. medium-sized business.

  67. We at Hutchison faced these challenges, as do many of our peers in the
  68. NEXTSTEP arena.

  70. Our aim was to come up with an application that took these challenges into
  71. account. Over the past year we've developed a Mission Critical Custom
  72. Application to solve these problems for us: Invoice. When we realized that
  73. everyone else was having the same problems that we did, we decided to
  74. polish it up, and bring Invoice to market. It's a straightforward yet
  75. powerful application that provides reliable, effective invoice management
  76. while minimizing the time and energy required to keep track of billings.

  79. Invoice. "Invoice is a great match to the size of my business. It
  80. has just the right blend of features to handle my customer list and
  81. invoicing." said McGilton.
